The Salone del Mobile in Milan is, as every year, the premier international showcase for furniture design. This year, Ronda Design presented several new products that celebrate the evolution of contemporary living, with innovative solutions for every room of the home. As always, metal took center stage. Here’s a look at Ronda Design’s Salone del Mobile.
Be YOUNIQUE: Magnetism, Modularity, Design Flexibility
The Salone del Mobile 2025 provided us with the opportunity to present the concept of the new Be Younique catalogue.
The Salone del Mobile 2025 provided us with the opportunity to present the concept of the new Be Younique catalogue. At Ronda Design, we believe that every space has a soul and should be an authentic expression of those who inhabit it. The Be YOUnique catalogue was created with this intention: not to present simple objects, but to provide ideas and inspirations for designing furniture solutions truly tailored to those who live with them.
All the settings and mood boards in the catalogue are designed to stimulate creativity and provide the tools to interpret spaces in a personal and original way.
The new products presented for the Caddy system this year follow this common thread and are linked by the principles of versatility and modularity, concepts that are increasingly central to modern furniture. The ability to adapt furniture elements to one’s needs and available spaces is a priority for those who experience their home in a dynamic and personal way.
The Caddy system therefore sees the introduction of new elements that amplify the concept of the magnetic metal wall and further expand its possibilities of use. The Caddy Glaze display units, the Caddy Case containers, and the new Caddy Board console fully embrace this philosophy, making Caddy a system with infinite design and application possibilities.
Metallic DNA
For Ronda Design, metal is not just a material, but a true identifying element, inherent in the company’s DNA, which defines the structural quality, contemporary aesthetics, and functional innovation of its products. It is a material that embodies the brand’s philosophy: combining refined design, practicality of use, durability over time, and sustainability.
In its research journey, Ronda Design seeks to propose metal in its purest form. This year, two of the three tables presented had both the structure and the top made of metal. The brand-new Foil dining table (designed by Gino Carollo) and the Crave table in refined burnished finishes stood out for their slender and bold design, clearly stating Ronda Design’s vision for furniture.
Regarding bookcases, alongside the best-selling Levia Air, which as always caught the visitors’ eyes, the new Zephir bookcase, with its slender curved metal profiles, was also striking.
New Material Offerings
The Ronda Design collection is enriched with new materials to offer increasingly personalized furnishing solutions. The Caddy panels are displayed with a refined linen effect, expanding the wall covering options. At the same time, the introduction of the leather finish applied to magnetic accessories adds a touch of refinement and texture to some magnetic accessories. The same leather is used for the base of the Roshi table, where it creates an unprecedented aesthetic interpretation together with the metal top, maintaining the solidity and elegance that distinguish it.
A Future of Design and Innovation
The new products presented at Salone del Mobile 2025 demonstrate a continuous pursuit of solutions that combine aesthetics, functionality, and attention to the needs of contemporary living. Modularity, magnetism, and a commitment to sustainability are the pillars of a vision that looks to the future of furniture always aiming at innovation and quality of Made in Italy.
