Gino Carollo is the art director of Ronda Design. He started his design career in 1990, beginning to collaborate with prestigious companies in Italy and around the world. In 1999, he founded the design firm Gino Carollo Studio.
Gino Carollo has been able to grasp, from the very first steps, the essence of Ronda Design. The “metallic” DNA and the drive for innovation of our brand, under his direction found full expression. He has been able to give an unmistakable imprint to our creations. It is a shared and constantly evolving path.

The reason for this collaboration
“We started collaborating on the art direction level a few years ago, and from the beginning our desire was to enhance the vocation of Ronda Design. We wanted to convey these values through both communication and products.”
What is meant by metallic dna
“The product that most represents this philosophy is definitely the Caddy system, which we developed based on magnetic technology-a revolution in the furniture industry.
This technique allowed us a completely new approach toward design and led us to develop a new product concept that is extremely flexible and customizable.”
Magnetika is a magnetic system patented by Ronda Design. The combined set of magnetic and metal elements allows for customizable, continuously moving solutions.
What does Gino Carollo see in the future of Ronda Design?
“We are experiencing a period of change and market evolution. Together with Ronda Design we want to find answers, new solutions that allow us to meet these new demands and needs.
We are also embarking on a path that we believe is fundamental for the future, which is to achieve a sustainable production.
Our ultimate goal is to create a strong brand identity, make it recognizable and thus place it in a broader design of corporate philosophy, which always puts man and his needs at the center.”
